Looking out from within bars onto the outside world is what life feels like these days after the world has been hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this new world of travel restrictions, the only journey I can undertake is through my memories of travels past. This painting is a view from a window in the Stockholm City Hall which hosts the annual Nobel banquet. It captures the mood of the moment - where I am wistfully looking out at all that I long to experience but can't. So....instead of looking out maybe I will look within to find enrichment. Maybe its time for all of us to do that.
