1980 - A watershed year and the start of a life-defining experience. I joined Seth GS Medical College in 1980 as the culmination of a lifelong dream of becoming a doctor and to get into the premier most medical college in the country (and in my home city) was the cherry on top. And the almost decade spent there has been the foundation of everything that followed in life, both personally and professionally. It was also where I met my husband. When in Jan 2020 I had a request from one of my classmates asking me to paint GSMC for our 40th class reunion, it was a moment of great pride and challenge. I was truly touched when an image of my painting was printed on the reunion memorabilia.
